Origin:
Bred by Jean-Pierre Vibert (France, 1835).
Introduced in Australia by F. C. Davis in 1862 as 'Blanchefleur'.
Class:
Alba, Centifolia, Hybrid China, Hybrid Gallica.  
Bloom:
White or cream, pink shading.  Strong, sweet fragrance.  Average diameter 2".  Medium to large, full (26-40 petals), expanded bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.  
Habit:
Arching, upright.  

Height: 4' to 6' (120 to 185cm).  Width: 4' to 5' (120 to 150cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 4b through 9b.  Prune after flowering is finished.
