Cherry-red.  Moderate fragrance.  Medium, double (17-25 petals), cupped bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.

Notes:
'Président d'Olbecque' is considered a synonym of 'Louis-Philippe' by some authors; however references show that these 2 roses have been considered distinct before Ellwanger stated they are synonyms in 1882 - almost 50 years after they were introduced.
