Very healthy; it matures into an attractive, rounded, bushy shrub with few thorns. Perfect for any situations and can cope with partial shade. 1m high and wide. A new English Rose named in Roald Dahl’s honour will be launched by David Austin Roses at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show.'Roald Dahl' (Ausowlish), a peach coloured rose honouring Roald’s first major success as an author for children with James and the Giant Peach in 1961, will be the focus of the David Austin exhibit at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show alongside a copper peach sculpture. Every Roald Dahl rose sold will help the Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity, as a percentage of sales will be donated to the charity. Not only will this beautiful, fragrant rose be a wonderful addition to any garden, it will help to make life better for seriously ill children through the money raised.
