I’ve had this rose in my garden for 3 years. It’s on the smaller side, and is a nice size for the front of the border in my garden, and the leaves seem very resistant to blackspot. The flowers come in huge flushes, and it’s not easy to find two that are exactly the same color. I’ve seen pink-, salmon-, and orange-colored flowers on this shrub, and sometimes all three at the same time. I don’t recall much fragrance, but it does a lovely job of being healthy and blooming its heart out. My garden is in zone 7b, in a humid environment, with alkaline clay. Sierra Lady has dealt with all of it, and also with overhead watering (it’s near the vegetable garden). The stems are way too short for cut flowers, but I do love seeing these flowers in the landscape. :)

The Sierra Lady page says this is part of the Arborose collection, but Star Roses website says this is part of the Sunbelt collection. The plant code on Star Roses website is 'KORlubaja' PP 23,667. Would you please advise which collection this rose is part of? Thank you for your help.

The wholesaler for Kordes roses in USA used to be Newflora, LLC, between 2003-17. Newflora indeed introduced 'Sierra Lady' as part of the Arborose collection in 2017. However, effective March 31, 2017 Ball Horticultural Corporation bought the assets of Newflora. With that, all rights to distribute Kordes Roses in USA passed to Ball's subsidiary Star Roses & Plants. Star Roses in turn, issued a Sunbelt collection, of which 'Sierra Lady' was also made part of. Confusing isn't it? On our site, first introduction was by Newflora as Arborose collection, but when you purchase now it is part of the Sunbelt collection. We added the Sunbelt synonym for clarification.

I'm a little puzzled. Heirloom lists this and its photos show an almost alarmingly orange color. Are we talking about two different roses with the same name?

It can be very orange. Color depends much on weather, and the cooler it is, the darker it is. Also soil pH also has influence on color. I grow this and have found the color to be extremely variable. See my pictures.
