It doesn't like to be grown in containers. The original plant came up in Santa Cruz, CA in Sept. 2005. When one was planted in San Jose, it grew vigorously, putting out numerous canes in all directions. It performs best if canes are kept about knee-high, and low-growing ones are cut short to encourage upright growth.
One will be in the Calif. Coastal Rose Society auction in October. The Heritage Rose Garden can supply cuttings to any nurseries that want to carry it.
