The rose E K Janaki Ammal is a shrub but can be grown as a short climber
The answer to all the other questions is YES
The pollen parent is the same complicated cross as in Takako- Tradition's Torch and Ganges Mist.
Little Darling x (R.clinophylla x R. bracteata) is the same seedling in all these roses
(R.clinophylla x R. bracteata) is the same seedling used in all the crosses.
Since the pollen parent which is a combination of different parents, is a very old seedling we will need to check our old records and hopefully be able to come up with the seedling numbers and dates.

Janaki Ammal was a cytogeneticist. She co- authored, along with C D Darlington, ‘The Chromosome Atlas of All Living Plants’, first edition, 1945.
Though from India she was the first woman in the USA to earn a PhD in Botany in 1926 from the University of Michigan. She won a Barbour Scholarship , and in 1931 the same University gave her an honorary doctorate ( D.Sc honoris causa).
She worked at the John Innes Institute, UK, at Kew, and at the Royal Horticultural Society’s Wisley garden, apart from the Botanical Survey of India.
