I'm assuming for the moment that Teas which go berserk in sub-tropical and tropical gardens, and Chinas striving to reach the light, aren't really climbers. We don't know yet whether the "Evandale Library Rose" (Mme Joseph Schwartz), growing in shade in Tasmania, was a true climber.
