Thank you 1923. I know Jedmar will be more able to attend to this than I.

Can we upload the translation so members don't have to go to Mr Google all the time? It is wonderful that no language is foreign to another.
The naming of roses in 1940-1945 with names of members of the Royal House of the Netherlands was associated with the resistance. Especially in the color ORANGE. The rose "Princess Beatrix", which was already marketed in 1940, had to change its name to "Nederland" in 1942. It appears from their catalogs that permission was given by Prince Bernard to have their nursery serial number No. 1007 to be called “Ros Binnenlandsche Armed Forces”. It reads = "Netherlands"

We added the rose 'Binnenlandsche Strijdkrachten' = No. 1007. The photo and description are from the Buisman catalogue of which year? The rose 'Prinses Béatrix' was on sale under this name until late in the 20th century. We have no information of a renaming to 'Nederland'.

Translation: "The rose Princess Beatrix (no. 1031) had to change her name to Nederland for a few years (no.1031) But from the catalogs it appears that after the war it returms to the original as Princess Beatrix (1031) So the rose Binnenlandse Strijdkrachten (no. 1007) has no connection with Princess Beatrix (no. 1031)"
Thank you very much for the clarification and additional references, which we have added.
