Bred by Unknown (before 1899).
Introduced in United States by Good & Reese Company: Champion City Greenhouses in 1899 as 'Admiral Dewey'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Crimson.  Strong fragrance.  Average diameter 5.5".  Very large bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Large, long, pointed buds.
