Hoffmann, 1905, Description in alphabetical list: Marie Van Houtte, T. R. (raised from “Mdme de Tartas” and “Mdme Falcot” by Ducher, 1872). Large, full, cupped, yellowish white, edged with bright pink; suffused with carmine pink on a golden yellow ground before fading. Growth moderately strong; rather sensitive to winter frost.
