Good morning Sutekesh,
The standard-rose pots are indeed a lot bigger.
I'll see what size they are and will report them to You.
I keep them in these pots for 2 seasons: at first as rootstock potted in march, then the rootstock is lifted with the root-ball intact, the root-neck is freed from soil that comes under in the pot and the plant back in the pot.
Then the root-neck is bud-grafted.
when the bud sprouts, everything of the rootstock, that is above it gets clipped off. Then it stays in the pot till it's planted. Several times it gets fertilizer: when planting an during the growing seasons.

I would really appreciate you letting me know the sizes, litres and height. I just received my rootstock yesterday and was going to put them in 7l, 26cm high pots but thought I would ask first.

Litres I do not know, but heights and diameters.
Ich irrte mich:
"Klein" 4 L, Ø oben 18,3 cm, Ø unten 13,5 cm, ↑ 21,5 cm.
"Groß" ?L , Ø oben 26,5 cm, Ø unten 20 cm, ↑ 26 cm.
Wenn die Rosenpflanzen größer werden und ich kann sie noch nicht auspflanzen, oder verschenken, bekommen sie einen etwas größeren Topf.

Jay-Jay - dann sind meine 7l Töpfe eigentlich ein bisschen gross. Ich könnte ziemlich viel Erde sparen mit 4l Töpfen. Die grosse Töpfe sind, schätze ich, etwa 13 Liter. Danke Sie haben mich sehr geholfen. Bilder und Filme benötige ich nicht aber trotzdem danke für die Aufmerksamkeit. As a matter of interest, are you refering to the film by Sven Stange?
