Garden Plan for Spring 2005 - This scale-drawn garden layout was originally developed on a Macintosh with MacDraw Pro and then updated in Freehand. The Garden Plan has icons at specific locations and runs as a layout in one of two relational FileMaker databases. The other database contains rose Info cards/summary tables (see subsequent pictures) which are (i) linked to locations in the Garden Plan and (ii) hyper-linked to the respective HMF pages saved for off-line use. The icons show the color and texture of blossom: Stripes for speckled/striped varieties, rings for blend/reverse ones. [Top-half of garden plan].
