VALE: Yvonne Arnold - 23 June, 2020.
Adelaide Hills, South Australia.
Von was an amazing rosarian/gardener, a keen photographer, lover and teacher of fine music and a supportive friend to all that knew her, world-wide.
At the time of her passing, Von was surrounded by husband, Dick and her family.
Von will be sadly missed by many.
RIP in Rose Heaven.

In 2008 Yvonne's rose photos featured in the book "Naming The Rose" which was published by Random House Australia... www.randomhouse.com.au The author was Roger Mann, and co-producer of rose photos Paul Barden.

Amazing, Yvonne!
Your gifted photography of the roses has inspired me. I swooned when I saw the 'Souvenir de Malmaison'...
We are about to plant a new garden; may I ask your advise for obtaining some olde world roses, please. (in Adelaide).

The only 2 nurseries selling the old roses are Thomas for Roses, email, thomashg@chariot.net.au, phone 08 8389 7795, or Ross Roses of Willinga orders@rossroses.com.au, phone 08 8556 2555 but I often buy interstate from Reliable Roses, www.reliableroses.com.au

Thank you for your invitation, unfortunately I won't be in Victoria during 05-06. I did meet some of you a few years ago when my husband and I called in to see the garden during July. People were pruning at the time. We were very impressed with the garden at Werribee. Yvonne.
