Taken in late April in south Arkansas (zone 8). Blooms in flushes all summer. Love the color.

"Caldwell Pink". August 2008. At 1 1/2 years, it is in constant bloom. 4 feet tall and near 5 feet wide. No sign of disease. Never sprayed or fertilized.

This is the first bloom of the season. Taken in south Arkansas, late April after 2 rain storms. The bloom is 6 inches across on a 28 inch stem. I think that it looks pretty good for all it has gone thru.

Long lasting blooms open slowly in the garden. Very strong stems that will hold up a large wet bloom. |
