It's been sent in at the trials in The Hague November last year. Will be under observation over there for three years in a row.
Another will be sent again to Roses du Désert.

It didn't grow very well for me last year in a pot, which I think was because of my cultivation than anything else. I planted it out at the beginning of the summer, there wasn't a place to train it against wires so I temporarily planted it in the open. Despite the hot dry weather it flowered well and grew two shoots, supported on canes, which must have have grown almost 300CM long. The foliage is an attractive glossy red aging to a very healthy looking dark green with no signs of blackspot. The fragrance has a fresh damask smell, not too heavy or cloying and a pleasant pink/orange/red colour. About six weeks ago I moved an over vigorous 'Alexandre Girault' and planted it to ramble as it wishes through a big shrub of Cotinus 'Royal Purple' then planted 'Noortje' in its place and started training it properly onto wires. It is between 'Paul Ricault' and 'Ghislaine de Féligonde' and I'm looking forward very much to see how well it grows and flowers next year. Another endearing feature is the name sounds very like "naughty".

It's named after my Granddaughter.... she can be a bit naughty, but as beautiful as the flower too. This was her self portrait:
