"I also had an exceptionally durable yellow (also from Cal Poly, but by R15-01) which bloomed for the first time this spring. Unfortunately it seems to be a once-bloomer. I'll attach pictures of it in the bud and after several days when the petals had begun to get spots but were still yellow. Its pollen is about the right size for tetraploid, but it has a lot of non-viable grains (see shriveled grains in the attached)." Peter G. Harris
