These catalogues were published by Alex. Dicksons and Sons Ltd., Hawlmark, Newtownards.

After moving the nursery in 1970, they are no longer located at the Hawlmark location, and the corporate name is Dickson Roses, not Alex. Dickson and Sons or Hawlmark Roses.

95% of the listings were from the 1914 catalogue. I moved all later to a new publication "Dickson Roses Catalogues"

I'm just getting started with 1938, and I just found the 1921 and 1957 catalogs online... The latter 2 might go more quickly since with 1938, I'm working from a stack of paper, and I generally find it easier to work from pdf files.

I was adding the 1938 references to the generic Hawlmark catalog publication, but I see that you've made that 1914 only, so I will manually move the 1938 references to a separate Dickson's Hawlmark Roses publication, since everything before 1970 was Dickson's Hawlmark Roses, not Dickson's Roses. There were some 21st Century references that didn't belong, though, and I'm glad they were moved to Dickson's Roses.

Thanks,
Virginia

I think everything is sorted out now.

FYI, I am no longer able to edit publication data, though I can still add new pubs. And I don't think I've ever been able to do a batch edit to move multiple references from one pub to another...

Thanks for your help,
Virginia
