In Kalifornien hat Franceschi prächtige Sorten durch Kreuzung mit moschata erhalten, von denen Madeleine Lemoine, Montarioso und Montecito hervorgehoben werden. Sie sollen die Üppigkeit und Blattschönheit der gigantea mit dem Blütenreichtum der moschata vereinigen und hervorragend wirken.

With its huge, cream-colored flowers, it should be valuable for crossbreeding, but we have not yet tried it sufficiently.
