R. pulverulenta hat der Vf. nicht blühn gesehn: Rec. hat ein getrocknetes Exemplar mit der Blüthe vor sich: diese ist gelblich; die Fruchtknoten und Stiele sind hackerich,die Blattstiele und Aeste mit Haaren und Stacheln besetzt: die Blätter auf beiden Seiten drüsig.
Translation:
The author has not seen R. pulverulenta in bloom. The Reviewer has a dried example with the bloom in front of him: this is yellowish; the ovary and stalks are hacky [?], the flower stalks and branches covered with hair and prickles: the foliage is glandular on both sides.
