(7 Jul 1900) Page(s) 11. Recent New Plants. Pæny Eastern Queen.—If one desires a herbaceous single Pæony of strong colour, this novelty from Messrs. Wallace and Company of Colchester should find favour. Its flowers are conspicuous for their strength, the guard florets very broad and robust, and, overlapping, form quite a bold background to the splendid centre of old gold colour. One may well imagine the rich effect of a group of this variety.
