All the plants listed as Zandri (Rolando), Zandri (Kikko) and Zandri (Francesco) - and perhaps other psuedonyms - were bred by Rolando Zandri. His new varieties, like 'Villa Fidelia' are available through the Novaspina nursery run by Davide dalla Libera.

We've changed the breeder from, either Kikko or Franco Zandri, to the father Rolando Zandri for 'Lisa', 'Profumo Romano', and 'Mariarita. Can you confirm that this last 'Mariarita', Flori, 1976 is a distinct rose from 'Maria Carta', HT. 1976.
We've added 'Villa Fidelia' and two other Rolando Zandri roses picked up from the Novaspina site: 'Red Old Blush' and 'Sea Foam Rose'.

'Maria Carta' is a salmon pink HT Alexander x ('Zambra' x 'Suspense') x 'Fire King', which won a Certificate of Merit at Rome, while the Floribunda 'Mariarita' is seedling x 'Sarabande'. These are listed in my book Le Rose Italiane on p. 189, the information on crosses coming from Ca' Berta's communication with the breeder.
