Thomas Robinson Jr., grandson of Thomas Robinson Sr., moved to Guernsey in the early 1980s.

In the summer of 1984 BARB offered:...Thomas Robinson was a well known name for Miniature roses in the early days, and a descendent of the firm is back in business, based in Guernsey. He has been breeding Miniatures with, I believe, Wichuraiana types, and offered six varieties for the first time.
[From American Rose Annual, 1985, p. 96:] .....because this year Thomas Robinson's son ( of the same name ) , now living on the island of Guernsey has introduced a number of his own miniatures.
