I am looking into the idea of having a rose named after someone and I am unsure if this is possible. I would be grateful if you could give me any information you may know about this or where I maybe be able to found out more.

thank you

PS I am in the UK

Many people have a rose named in honour or someone. They go first to a rose breeder and ask about selecting a rose. If he says yes, then you will have to pay for the rose to be launched under the name. I would phone Harkness Roses to get all the information you will need. Even Peter Beales nursery could help you.
