I have had this rose, 'Lady Liberty' for at least 12 years and have not found any reference to it in Australia. I am so pleased that I have now found it on this web site and am not going mad. This rose (my specimen anyway) is a stunner. The buds are long, perfectly formed and open slowly to a full pure white, with a hint of green, rose that has solid petals and is quartered in the centre. I would say that it would be perfect for a bouquet. Long lasting but tends to go soggy with heavy rain preventing the buds to fully open. The foliage is a mid green with thick, long, almost thornless stems. This rose looks very similar to 'ICE GIRL Panarosa' or KORmistiana. Thank you

Felicity, those are wonderful pictures. It would be really nice if you would upload them to the Lady Liberty rose page. There isn't a single shot of this rose on HMF. You'll be the first.

Just go to this page age click the button UPLOAD PHOTO.

Oops! You can see that I am new at this. I will attend to this. I had a bit of a problem last night trying to label all the photos. It can only get better.
From where has this site originated? It looks to be one of the better sites, though I am not an expert.
kindest regards
Felicity

HelpMeFind was founded by two intrepid Americans, Felicity. It has been around for more than 10 years. Don't worry, you will get the hang of it. Everyone does. You can add your garden, list your roses, post shots, read the Ezine. There is lots of information here and many ways to use the site.

Felicity...

Cass is right about how you will get used to using the site. Thank you for wanting to share your photos !

To read more about the story of how HelpMeFind came into being, click on EZINE on the navigation bar to the left, then click on the ISSUE DATE and go to the August, 2007 issue and read the "Editor's Notes". The article tells you a little bit about the founders and a lot about the goals of the site.

Smiles,
Lyn
