The registered colour of Cream Dream is 'white.....clear cream colour'. Far be it from me to criticize Jackson and Perkins but I think that unless it has been photo shopped their photo looks more like Lemon Dream - 'light yellow, outer petals fading to white' The dream group can be seen in Treloar Roses catalogue - 2003 page 9; 2004 page 17.
I am also amazed to find Dream was registered as a Floribunda while all the subsequent sports were all listed as Hybrid Teas. Dream has the typical hybrid tea look, usually one to the stem occasionally 2 or 3.

Thank you for clarifying, I think you are correct that I've misidentified this rose as Cream Dream. I am certain that it came from Jackson & Perkins shortly before they went bankrupt (2010 I believe). I got it as a bagged rose at our local big box hardware store (Home Depot) and lost the label. I searched every picture of yellow roses on HelpMeFind and the one from Jackson & Perkins for Cream Dream matched the closest. I guess the search continues. I will remove the photo from the site. Thanks again.

Bambey has been a fairly slow growing bush for me. The blooms are very large and quite fragrant. My plant is only 2 years old and often has trouble supporting the heavy blooms, so they tend to droop. The buds can also ball in wet weather and not open. Worth growing just for the fragrance though.

In San Diego, this is a hardy plant that grows about 4 feet tall and is almost always in bloom. The second bloom of the season is typically the most prolific. Very disease resistant. The fragrance is fruity...kind of like "Smarties" candies. I have never known it to set a hip though.
