Simply my best red rose. Survives 6a winters with die-back to 12-18 inches, but comes back strong. After a couple of years, expect it to get 4'x4'. It is the most vibrant red I've ever seen, and catches the eye from a distance like no other. Disease free, robust, and covered in blooms all summer. Its thick, glossy leaves are exceptionally well suited to hot, dry conditions. Its spring flush will stop anyone in their tracks, and with weekly deadheading (the blooms last a long, long time) it continues to pump out flowers. No scent that I can discern, but over the years this rose stands out as a stunning workhorse.

Great, hardy rose in dry conditions (no black spot pressure). Always in bloom. I water deeply once a week in this high desert and it responds with non-stop blooms and beautiful foliage. As a single specimen, it draws the eye unlike most other roses (the color is similar to Altissimo). Very winter hardy (zone 6a), exposed to the wind.
