This rose has had some strange behaviour in my garden. It is not 1 meter tall at all, every summer it sends up new shots that are between 1,6 and 2 meters tall. I don’t live in a particular warm country so it can’t be that ether. Anyone else that has had growth like that one their Wenzel Geschwind? I have bought a new rose to compare the growth the next couple of years to see if the new one also grows like this.

Beautiful! Is it actually without prickles like 'Lykkefund'?

No, it isn't it has some prickles, some large ones on the stems and some small ones under the leafs. It doesn't have the fine small prickles though and not to many of the larger ones ether so not to bad.
