I have a rose that is tagged this way, but it isn't yellow at all -- more shades of dark pink. Is it phototrophic? Or maybe just mislabeled by the nursery?

My rose is dark apricot/rust turning slightly yellowy with a delicious fragrance! Thanks for your comments

There are a few pictures under the "Photos" tab that depict a bloom that is very intense orange in color. They don't look right to me. My Whisky Mac bushes all bloom more of a yellowy apricot that is really beautiful. I have never seen WM blooms of this color, but maybe being in different parts of the country with differing amounts and intensities of sun and heat could cause this coloration.

Whisky Mac's color varies rather a bit depending upon the weather. When I grew it in the Philadelphia area in the summer it was clearly a yellow blend (shading somewhat into gold/apricot/orange), but in the cooler days of September & October the pink in the blossoms became much more prominent.
I love this rose!

I have inherited a garden with this rose in the front. I would love to have another in the back, but am having difficulty finding a supplier near me - any suggestions?

Hi, Katie, This rose is widely available. The correct name is Whisky Mac. Is it possible you were looking for it under the wrong spelling, Whiskey Mac? That has been corrected on HelpMeFind. Click on the BUY FROM tab. You will see a long list of nurseries in the EU.
