Aged 42, practising hospital doctor (Infectious diseases), half french - half american, I live in the South of France and am blessed with a 1000 square meter garden in the midst of Montpellier, where I grow mostly mediterranean (i.e drought resistant) shrubs and flowers. I have only very recently "come" to roses, and therefore am a complete beginner in that vast domain. However, I am quite knowledgeable on mediterranean flora, and have a scinetist's interest for experiments...
