i recently discovered this picture which clearly shows mme jules gravereaux's squat and flat bottomed buds, as do the cultivars of it at l'hay-les-roses.
in the sangerhausen collection, mme jules gravereaux has all the characteristics of another variety with oblong, strongly ciliated sepals twisting above the bud who's bottom is of a more slender shape: this variety matches comtesse de noghera in commerce and equally in the sangerhausen collection.
where did the plant in the photograph came from?

That's okay, I'm glad to help when I can,(and that is not often becauce of my lack of experience and knowledge concerning roses) I was curious about this rose, but couldn't find it either, so I searched the rose under the possibility: 'Contains'.... Guillot. Instead of 'Best Match'
Would You please, when You have them, upload some more of Your excellent rosephoto's?
They are a joy to look at!
......Sorry, I reacted directly on the mail-notice of HMF, not aware You already uploaded a lot of pictures today; THANK YOU!!!
