I recently supplied the photos for the book "Naming The Rose" by Roger Mann.

It's a beautifully illustrated book Yvonne.
Do you grow all the roses you photographed?

No, we had to go to a few other gardens for some of the roses, but perhaps 80% listed I have growing.

There is an error on this page. The modern H.T. rose Bob Woolley is a different rose to Wolley Dod's

I did inform Help Me Find about this error, but nothing was done about it. I don't have Wolley Dod growing in my rose garden.

Yvonne, as you are the owner of your photos, may we ask you to delete this picture under Wolley Dod and re-upload it under Bob Wolley?

Jedmar, I don't understand what you mean. I don't have a photo listed as Wolly Dods, I've just been through all the photos here on my garden page. Do you mean that one of my photos has been used on the Wolly Dods rose page? I am confused! Of all the thousands of rose photos I've taken, Wolly Dods has never been one of them.

I understood the name to be Deane Ross - named after one of the Ross family.

The name certainly is Deane Ross, not Deanne Ross. Helpmefind, would you change this please. The late Mr. Ross was one of Australia's most revered rosarians. Thanks.

Thank you for your invitation, unfortunately I won't be in Victoria during 05-06. I did meet some of you a few years ago when my husband and I called in to see the garden during July. People were pruning at the time. We were very impressed with the garden at Werribee. Yvonne.
