I would like to share cuttings with other members, but it takes too long to run through the list. I wish I could just type in the name of the rose I want or have to share and then if it is on the website, I could list 'have' or 'want' immediately, and see who else has it, too.

This running through the list makes you have to view every rose available. It is very clumsy, and takes too long.

Jason..........

HMF is set up to do exactly what you are requesting for non-patented roses. Just use the SEARCH function for the rose that you either want cuttings for or want to share cuttings and go to the rose page. At the top of the page, you will see a tab called CUTTINGS. Click on that tab and if someone has already indicated that they either want the cuttings for the rose, or wish to share them, their member name will show under the disclaimer not to trade patented plants. There are also two buttons where you can indicate that you want cuttings or have cuttings to share.

Have fun.

Smiles,
Lyn

Bloomers Nursery in Elgin, TX is a great little nursery, home owned by Marcus Young. It features many adapted and native plants for Central Texas, and has a GREAT selection of own-root antique roses that do well in Central Texas. Highly recommended.
