This year at certain times of the day they have a strong, unusual almost marzipan scent. So many petals that I got one rose all the way into the house before realizing there was still a bee inside. Just over two years old, it's growing and flowering enthusiastically this spring. Several tall canes from last year, and more coming. The blooms are fairly long stemmed and last well as cut flowers.
