re the note on this entry "Seedling of Comtesse de Labarthe until the 1990s when it became a sport...", the 1885 Journal des Roses reference: "Madame Joseph Schwartz (1880), obtenue par dimorphisme de la variété Comtesse de Labarthe;" ("Madame Joseph Schwartz (1880), obtained through dimorphism from the variety Comtesse de Labarthe,") is an unambiguous reference to 'Mme Joseph Schwartz' as a sport.

The blooms of this variety sometimes resemble those of Mme Bravy. But there are differences in thorns and foliage.
