I need to correct my statement that Gregg Lowery is once blooming. I've found that as it has matured in my garden it is repeating.

This rose is named(posthumously) after my friend Sequoia Greenfield. It is a seedling that came up in the middle of a gravel pathway. It seemed fitting to name such a strong rose after this strong woman.

I'm wondering about the rose i am growing labeled Erlkonig. It looks like the photos from Sangerhausen, but the description of the rose and the photo from the Fineschi garden are carmine red/purple.

The rose in Fineschi seems to be a different rose (see photos). In any case, the identity of the roses commercialized under this name are questioned in the latest publication on Geschwind's roses.
