Hi there! I'd be very interested to know where you found the Old Yellow Scotch rose and how you'd compare it to Harison's Yellow. I have Harison's Yellow, but I've had trouble finding Old Yellow Scotch. Thanks!

Joe;
I got a plant from a former Spin collector who has since quit growing roses. My plant is more compact than Harison's Yellow. I have a few Spin friends and between us could maybe help out with getting you a sucker at some point.
I have written a pretty extensive article and will go back and look at what the research told me about the differences (other than plant size).

Thanks so much for your quick and generous reply, Stephen. I'd be grateful to you or anyone you know who might ever provide me with a sucker, and will happily pay for postage. I'd also be interested in reading what you documented about Old Yellow Scotch (or Harison's). Are back issues of your newsletter available online anywhere?

I very much appreciate your supportive help!

Hello Old Rosarian. I have Harison's Yellow, but I've had trouble finding Old Yellow Scotch (especially in the US). Since you have both growing, I'd be very interested in how you'd compare Old Yellow Scotch to Harison's Yellow. Thanks!

Hi there! I live in Connecticut and am interested in finding Old Yellow Scotch rose. I see that you have it listed as one you have in your garden. I'd very very grateful to know where found it and if there's still a way for me to purchase one as well. Thanks!
