玉玲珑 translates to 'Yu Ling Long' which was already listed as 'Exquisite Jade'. We have reassigned your photo to this listing, although the photo does not match the description in the reference.

It also keeps blooming throughout the year like 国色天香 in Shanghai.
Its small petals are more than 100 with a mild to strong scent.
Shrubs are small, always blooming throughout the year with clusters of buds. Contibuous rainy days could make the buds rotten.

It was more than twenty years ago that I encountered the amazing old china roses.
Things change. I grew up. Now I have found them, and a garden is dedicated to them.
However, more roses are invited to the garden.
So it goes……

国色天香 is already listed. We have added the spelling 'Guo Se Tian Xiang' and are reassigning the photo. This should make discussion easier. You can see from the note and reference that there is a high probability that this is originally a European rose.

Thank you! It's quite odd that I collected four similar roses resembling Gruss an Tepliz. I am wondering whether they are the same. I noted some major differences in fragrance, number of petals and shape of flowers. And this year I planted them in the garden, hoping to figure it
out.

Additional information about this rose:
It blooms almost throughout the year from April to January.
Number of petals are always above 50 in spring, autumn and winter, but much fewer in summer. This may be the major difference between 国色天香 and Gruss an Tepliz.
It has a wide distribution in China. It could be eaten, made into rose jams with sugar and honey, applied in baking, tea, etc.
Maybe Gruss an Tepliz is the sister of 国色天香?They do resemble each other.
I collected four similar roses. Only one kind blooms only in spring and summer. The other three keeps blooming into midwinter in Shanghai.
I met this rose more than 20 years ago. The fragrance brought my childhood memory back.
Hope to know more about it.
