If anyone knows, please let me know.
‘Bayou’ is the German meaning 'Port', I can understand it.
But what language is ‘Bajou’?

Bayou is not German, but a term from Louisiana USA for flat wetlands found there. So it is originally a French word from USA. "Bajou" is incorrect, but used by many nurseries as a spelling variant.

Thank you everyone for your valuable information.
It wasn't a writing mistake at the time of registration, it was derived from American-made French.
I have learned a lot from your!
The original meaning of "Blue Bajou" was not "blue port" but "blue small stream"!

I realize this thread is old, but "Blue Bayou" is also a song, written and first recorded by Roy Orbison, then later by Linda Ronstadt.

It is sold under the name "White Heaven" in Japan.
I don't have any data on when or why it started.

Thank you for this information. We have added 'Shonan Fantasy' too. For breeding year we use the earliest known dates, not the introduction. Could 'Creamy Mimi' be the same as 'White Mimi Rose' in our database? This rose starts off cream and the ages to white.

Thank you so much for the quick response.
I don't know if 'Creamy Mimi' and 'White Mimi Rose' are connected or not.

The link "Bridal Fantasy breeding year" in the Notes shows that there is further information by Kanagawa Prefecture on rose bred there. Unfortunately, we cannot speak Japanese in order to be able to browse through this information.

My first information was mistyped, Already fixed. 1998→× 1993→〇
This Link Says: The breeding started in 1988, and the variety was registered in 1993.

Thank you, yes Google translate helped for that. I was wondering whether there are more roses bred by Kanagawa Prefectural Government Agricultural Technology Center in one of these links, roses which we do not have on HMF.

I can't paste the link, so Google it ‘湘南ファンタジー’.
