I’m quite fond of this Rose. It has lovely glossy bright green leaves. It does get some black spot but it quickly sheds it and sends out new growth quickly. The scent is lovely. I’d say medium and sweet. It also sets viable seeds but not many per hip.

Sold in the UK as a Floribunda Rose by many nurseries. No mention of HT on any write ups. Will check this out as new bare root this year and update. A Floribunda Rose up to 90cm with Salmon colour, fragrant blooms. Healthy, glossy foliage.

This rose is an Australian sport of an HT. The 'Happy Anniversary' sold in UK is a floribunda by Delbard from France.

Sorry this is wrong. I just looked up the Rose you mentioned. It’s not the Delbard but other one and it is sold in the UK as bedfranc and as a Floribunda not a HT. The following websites all list it: RHS Plants, Waitrose Garden, Ashfield nurseries & Parkfield nurseries.

In David Austin’s book he states this Rose is of Alba breeding but placed it in the Leander group. Wondering if it was a Leander seedling x Alba Seedling perhaps.

A lovely Rose. To me it’s like Mme Isaac Pererie and English Miss had a baby. Which I’m guessing the other parent is based on the foliage. Beales had used English Miss with Bourbons before, with Our Beth So doesn’t surprise me to be used again.
