(Peter Paul Rubens) Early spring, year 2 (2024), the long shoot (left) and the main cane (right) are all that is left after a severe frost last winter. Incidentally, this rose survived the frost (no protection) much better than many others with a hardiness rating of 6b. Right next to it Frédéric Mistral had to be cut back to the ground, but eventually new shoots came through, as did Prince Jardinier.
