This nursery delivers a very, very poor product, which will most likely die. I have over one hundred roses and the three I got from them are the only ones I've had that died. They look like twigs. Also, they are not honest and do not back their product. They sent me the wrong rose, and I've sent them numerous emails and they have failed to return any of them.

Are you referring to Michael's Premier Roses in Sacramento? I'd really like to know because I was thinking of ordering the rare Valencia from them.

They used to be excellent. I don't know what happened. Last Winter I ordered some miniatures to be shipped the first week of May (2004) and no later than the end of May. I only got a partial order. I asked for a refund because the invoice slip said the remainder of my order was on backorder. I called and I emailed and kept copies of every email. I received no response. In September they sent the rest of my order. They were about 1/2" to 3/4 " in height. My bank got me a refund, because I ordered on my bank's Visa. I sent the roses back, wrapped very carefully and never received acknowledgement. Michael's Premiere Roses used to be one of my favorite places. Now however, I will NEVER order from them again.

On a trip where I traveled around California, I visited the nursery. I can tell you that by what I saw, I would not order from them. Plants on the benches were toppled over. Few were placed under the misters, most were quite dry. Many of the plants had no labels. If I had just read about this, I might be concerned, but I was actually at the nursery and even if they do get some things right some of the time, I still wouldn't want to buy any plants from a nursery that shows such a lack of care for the plants.
