Hello Samantha:
I would like to use your photo of 'General Washington', HMF32365, as part of anarticle I'm doing for the American Rose Society's nagazine, for which you would receive photo credit. Please let me know as soon as possible if this is OK. Thanks very much.

Of course you may. Anything to have people aware that there are beautiful old roses. BTW, it blooms quite a bit in SoCal.. even in the heat.
Thank you. Samantha Mooney

I added my last name to the last post.. but wasn't sure you'd get a reply notice.. so I'm replying again..
You will crop it, right? Did you see my mismatched pots? lol. I had gone a bit crazy with rose purchases and used what was handy.

Hi Sam:
The article is the second of a two parter (the first part will appear in the Aug/Sept issue) called "Soldiers in the Garden". It's about roses named after prominent 19th and 20th century soldiers from France, Britain, and the U.S. It has pics of both the solider and the rose named after him, plus brief bios of both.

Oh, my husband will love it. I love all the roses named after Generals and so does he, having been in the military.
Thanks. Samantha
