Photo taken at the Mornington Botanical Rose Gardens a couple of days ago. Really strong colour at this time of the year.

Late autumn in our garden in outer southeast Melbourne. Such a strong and rich colour (at the moment at least) and a fantastic lemony fragrance. Bloom has lasted well in the vase, too.

One of the first blooms on our newly bought Fur Elise, in Melbourne, late autumn. Very dark colours and if I hadn’t read that it was supposed to be dark pink I would have thought it was dark red, and as a nice surprise, it also has the sort of dark red rose fragrance that you get from the likes of Mr L, Papa M, Oklahoma, Munstead Wood, etc. Glad I bought it so far.

Photo taken today, late autumn, at the Mornington Botanical Rose Gardens, about an hour from Melbourne, Australia. Always one I’m keen to see, smell and photograph there, as they are such fantastic blooms. Colour, form and fragrance all special.

These are from out the front of a local veterinarian office in outer southeast Melbourne this spring. This one was just perfection. An exhibition worthy bloom.
