Such a lovely rose! How is it doing for you? Any new images of the plant? Are you getting hips? I'm interested in crossing this with something compatible. research.net has a helpful paper on rose species and their ploidy/genes.

I gifted my plant to Jonathan Windham.

It was aggressive.

I intended to use it for hybridizing but decided to work with banksia instead.

Hey, Kim!
I wanted to update you on the IXLR cutting you sent me some time ago, like years ago. It's an amazing rose. I get new blooms on and off all season. It's in bloom now. Thank you, thank you!

I have an update to my entry on this rose. I've let it grow wild into a neighbor's hedge. The canes are sturdy, the foliage clean, and it wants to repeat bloom a bit. I have a big flush in the spring, then sporadic blooms all summer into fall. I want to thank Kim Rupert for sending me this seedling. It should be grown more, say in the wine country or in big gardens elsewhere.

I have an overwhelming love for single and semi-double roses. This one is so lovely. Congratulations! Is it going to be available commercially (here in the States)?
