I love exhibition and florist roses. Although I don't show at this time, I plan to begin within the next 2 - 3 years.

Although I've raised roses for a long time, I don't know much. I'm not good at disease prevention, pruning and dead heading.
Ironically, I had better luck with my roses when I lived in Ventura, CA, only 800 ft. from the beach on Pierpont Bay. No blackspot, no mildew, and I had no idea that something called "canker" existed! When I moved back to Portland, OR, that all changed!
