Trying to keep up with the battle of Black Spot. All of this Louisiana heat/humidity/ and daily rain is making it tough. I need to do another Neem Oil spray soon.

Other than that things are blooming well. I have a few in mind that I'll be shovel pruning this fall and giving to my Mom. They just aren't working out for me, but she wants to give them a try in her yard. I also have been making mental notes on all the roses I want to move around. Most of them I just sited wrong to start with, and now that I've had more time to learn I see the err of my ways. Others I'm moving so I can do better with the color flow of the beds. I need to get started on drawing out all the plans for moves so I'm not working off of memory.

My big bloomers right now are Cherry Parfait, Night Owl, Dainty Bess, Julia Child, and Oklahoma. The others are blooming sporadically, but these gals are just blooming their heads off.

Recently picked up Snowfire at a local garden center for $7. It was smushed in the back corner behind some other plants and I saw the red/white flower rising above. It had been neglected for a while now, yet growing strong and tall. Good sign hopefully.
