6/11/2023 - Vancouver, Washington I noticed that the early blooms tend to be small, but the final blooms live up to the "new peony" name. For comparison, I included the smaller blooms of Félicité Parmentier in the background.

May 30, 2019 at the International Rose Test Garden in Portland, OR. This was one of the standouts. It does have a good scent, by the way, and my nose isn't that sensitive.
