Origin:
Discovered by Unknown South African origin (1991).
Introduced in South Africa by Ludwig's Roses as 'Oyster Pearl'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Light pink.  Strong fragrance.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season, occasional repeat later in the season.  
Habit:

Height: up to 5' (up to 150cm).  Width: up to 4' (up to 120cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 7b through 9b.  Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.  Requires spring freeze protection (see glossary - Spring freeze protection) .

Notes:
Arena Rose Co.'s Catalog 2000 says Oyster Pearl is a beautiful rose that originated in Zimbabwe. Its pale cream-pink petals are dusted with a blush of deep pearl pink that emerges from the center.
