This article clarifies that the seedling is 'Fireburst', which seems to imply the full parentage of Fireburst is Evening Star and Trumpeter (this matches my memory of old ARS magazine article I can't find...).

The only issue is that the order of the article and the order of Evening Star, but in all of the records I have seen, except for the patent of Dream Red, Evening Star is the male parent in his work. So I am not sure of the correct order for Fireburst.
Further, the Encyclopedia of Rose Science states that the unknown parent of Spring Hill's Freedom is also Fireburst.

This "Dream Red" rose is now being marketed under the name "Miss Salsa" and is distributed through Home Depot as a floribunda, not a hybrid tea. See, http://thepremiumrosecollection.com for more information.
