Bred by Gilbert Nabonnand (1828-1903) (France, 1884).
Introduced in Australia by C. F. Newman and Sons - Adelaide in 1894 as 'Impératrice Maria Feodorowna de Russie'.

Bloom:
Yellow - white, pink edges. .  Strong fragrance.  Very large, very double, globular, scalloped bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Well-branched.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
